Free To Air {FTA} Satellite Television systems

There are a lot of FTA channels available across several satellites. Probably the most common satellites for FTA are

Optus D1 and Optus D2. 

D1 has all the ABC channels around Australia [5 states & NT], SBS [4 states] and a few other channels that

appear randomly. These are called feeds and can give you some good stuff at times.

D2 is the main source of christian television having up to 16 channels available as well as several channels of various ethnic

programs.
